This was my 30th annual Myrtle Beach Golf Trip where we played 13 rounds of golf in 8 days. It was my first time playing this course which was recommended by a buddy of mine as we were looking to play an afternoon round. I'm glad we went as it was a great gem. We will be going back to it next year!

Very good golf courses for ladies and senior golfers. Good golfers should expect to shoot a good score if play to their abilities. Birdie tries should be plentiful. Bogeys are always in play. A hole by hole review is available at myrtlebeachsouth.com

Nice course for the money. Not in the same class as some of the nicer, newer courses in Myrtle Beach, but a very good value. Played in the off season, so no problem with pace of play. Worth a look if in the area.

Interesting layout. Multiple sets of tees for all skill ranges. Woman friendly. Can't run very many shots up to greens--most elevated and guarded by traps. Mot too much water, but what there is makes you "think" your way around, short or over it.

Played in WorldAm on this course. Nice setup and very good condition. Very fair. Not sure of green fees since this was a tournament but they charged $3 for range balls instead of $5, for a tournament. That pissed me off. Who pays for range balls in a tournament???? And I don't care who told the to charge us, that makes them look awful cheap. Small driving range, but adequate.

I liked almost everything about this course, as well as my friends. Saw the course marshall on the second hole and that was it. Saw the drink cart once. The course played well, I liked the historical landmarks. Of the three courses we played this past trip everyone liked this one the best.

Course in good condition. Pace of play slow. good layout use a lot of different clubs.

According to locals and visitors this is a good course, however I do not care for it. Not sure what it is about it that just does not appeal to me. The course was in very good shape and I had an enjoyable afternoon with my playing partners. I would not tell anyone not to play this course.
